The St. Louis Blues' prospect pipeline had a number of firsts this past week, led by Aleksanteri Kaskimäki's first career NHL goal, Milton Gästrin's first two SHL goals and Ondřej Kos' first goal of the season in Liiga.

Here's a look to the most notable moments from across the Blues' prospect pipeline

Transactions

The Blues made three roster moves over the past week. Blues defenseman Theo Lindstein was recalled from the Springfield Thunderbirds on Oct. 30 with veteran defenseman Colton Parayko listed as day-to-day. Fellow defenseman Quinton Burns was reassigned to Springfield on Oct. 31 after their come from behind victory against the Detroit Red Wings. Finally, Otto Stenberg was reassigned to the Thunderbirds on the 29th.

NHL

Aleksanteri Kaskimäki, LW (NHL)
Week: 3 GP, 1 G, 0 A, 1 PTS
Season (AHL and NHL): 12 GP, 3 G, 6 A, 9 PTS

Kaskimäki scored the first NHL goal of his career and finished with a plus-1 rating with just under 11 minutes of ice time in the Blues' 5-4 win over Detroit on Saturday. He has nine points in 12 games spread between the NHL and AHL and is asserting himself as a valuable fourth-line, penalty-killing forward who will be very difficult to reassign to the Thunderbirds as players begin to come back from injury.

NCAA

Tynan Lawrence, C
Week: 2 GP, 3 G, 0 A, 3 PTS
Season: 8 GP, 7 G, 2 A, 9 PTS

Lawrence scored twice in BU's Halloween matchup against the University of Maine, and once in Friday's 7-2 victory, with one power play goal and nine shots over the two games. Seven goals now in eight games on the young season, and Lawrence is tied for the second-most goals of any prospect in the Blues organization and the seventh-best in the NCAA.

William McIsaac, D
Week: 2 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 PTS
Season: 8 GP, 1 G, 3 A, 4 PTS

Two assists over the weekend in his two games played, including a plus-3 rating in Saturday's 5-5 shootout tie against Merrimack College with 21:40 of ice time. McIsaac now has four points in his first eight NCAA games with a plus-4 rating.

Tomas Mrsic, C/W
Week: 2 GP, 0 G, 1 A, 1 PTS
Season: 8 GP, 0 G, 3 A, 3 PTS

Three points now in eight games to start his 2026-27 season, with Mrsic adding one assist over the weekend. After a 10-point and minus-8 rating Freshman season, the 20-year-old winger is looking like a more well-rounded player, averaging just under 16 minutes of time on ice each game.

Thunderbirds (AHL)

Springfield sits in last place in the Atlantic Division with a 3-4-2-1 record, losing twice this week in a 7-6 overtime loss on Friday, and a 4-2 loss on Sunday.

Jakub Stancl, C
Week: 2 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 2 PTS
Season: 10 GP, 2 G, 2 A, 4 PTS

Two goals and four points for Stancl on the young season. Springfield has been converting Stancl to the center position this season after an extended look during the start of Ott's head coaching career with the Thunderbirds, and so far it has proven to be working nicely. Stancl is on pace for 14 goals and 28 points in 72 AHL games this season.

Justin Carbonneau, RW
Week: 2 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 PTS
Season: 10 GP, 3 G, 3 A, 6 PTS

Carbonneau grabbed an assist in each of Springfield's two losses this week while putting seven shots on goal, including four in Sunday's game. Six points now in 10 games for the rookie forward has made him one of the Thunderbirds' most steady point producers as he acclimates to the pro level.

Juraj Pekarcik, W/C
Week: 2 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 PTS
Season: 10 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 PTS

The points have not come easily for Pekarcik so far this season. The 21-year-old grabbed his first two points of the season in Friday's game. At this rate, Pekarcik will finish well below his 35 points in 69 games he had during his rookie season.

Will Cranley, G
Week: 2 GP, .829 SV%, 7 GA, 41 SA
Season: 5 GP, .924 SV%, 12 GA, 157 SA

Cranley's first true blunder of the season came as he allowed seven goals on 41 shots in Friday's overtime loss to the Providence Bruins. After an incredible start to the season, even this seven-goal loss still keeps him at a .924 SV% through his first five games of the season.

CHL

Colin Fitzgerald, RW (OHL)
Week: 3 GP, 1 G, 2 A, 3 PTS
Season: 17 GP, 8 G, 9 A, 17 PTS

Fitzgerald managed a point in all three games, including a goal in Sunday's 5-4 overtime loss. He finished with a plus-3 rating over the week and currently leads all Blues prospects in goals scored this season. Fitzgerald currently sits second on the Soo Greyhounds roster with 17 points in 17 games this season.

Carter Stevens, RW (OHL)
Week: 2 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 2 PTS
Season: 15 GP, 5 G, 5 A, 10 PTS

The 18-year-old is well on his way to a career year in the OHL after another two-point weekend, grabbing a goal against fellow Blues prospect Colin Fitzgerald and adding an assist Saturday against the Saginaw Spirit. Stevens is earning third-line deployment currently and providing Guelph with some very beneficial secondary scoring behind players like Ryan Roobroeck and Owen Griffin.

Maddox Dagenais, RW (QMJHL)
Week: 2 GP, 0 G, 2 A, 2 PTS
Season: 13 GP, 6 G, 6 A, 12 PTS

Dagenais added two assists Saturday against Baie-Comeau Drakkar while adding four shots on goal. Sunday's 5-2 loss was a little rougher, finishing with a minus-4 rating despite firing six shots on goal and coming up empty. While he has 12 points in 13 games, consistency will be the name of the game for Dagenais this season.

Breakthough's in Europe

Milton Gästrin, C/W (SHL)
Week
: 2 GP, 2 G, 0 A, 2 PTS
Season: 11 GP, 2 G, 0 A, 2 PTS

Playing on the fourth line in the SHL has made it difficult for the 19-year-old to find offensive success. This past week, he finally broke through. Gästrin scored his first two goals of his SHL career, one on Thursday against Färjestad BK and another on Saturday against Djurgårdens IF. Gästrin is currently 13th among U20 players in the SHL and should continue to build his two-way game this season.

Matvei Korotky, C (KHL)
Week
: 1 GP, 2 G, 0 A, 2 PTS
Season: 19 GP, 7 G, 9 A, 16 PTS

The Blues' 7th round selection in the 2024 draft scored twice over the past week. Korotky has bounced up and down the lineup but has been a consistent offensive threat. At only 20 years old, he is third on his KHL team in points and all U21 players in the KHL.

Ondřej Kos, LW (Liiga)
Week
: 3 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 2 PTS
Season: 17 GP, 1 G, 5 A, 6 PTS

Kos scored his first goal of the season in Saturday's 1-0 win, and grabbed an assist in Friday's 2-1 shootout victory over KalPa. He's a high-rate shooter who put another seven shots across three games this past week. After 16 games without a goal, he could start to see an offensive breakthrough in his game.

Love Härenstam, G (HockeyAllsvenskan)
Week
: 3 GP, .939 SV%, 6 GA, 98 SA
Season: 17 GP, .921 SV%, 30 GA, 380 SA

Härenstam grabbed his third shutout of the season, stopping all 35 shots against in Friday's 1-0 win against Visby/Roma. He remains one of the top-three goaltenders in Sweden's second-tier league and should look to continue growing and building his game against men.
