The NHL Network released their first edition of the top 20 wingers in the NHL, and one name was left off that should have been on it. Overall, the list was good, maybe even spot on, but missing one key player who happens to be a part of the St. Louis Blues.
Jordan Kyrou was left off the list, and he has shown that he undoubtedly deserves the placement. With three straight 30-goal seasons at the top of his resume, it is criminal that he was left off.

Disrespecting Kyrou's game?
Let's face it, these are some great wingers on there. But, there is no denying that the 15 through 20 spots could be interchanged to make room for Kyrou. Namely, Matt Boldy from the Central Division rival Minnesota Wild.
Boldy is a great young player and had a fantastic 2024-25 season with 27 goals and 46 assists for 73 points. But Kyrou nearly outmatched him by eclipsing his goal total with 36 goals and added 34 assists for 70 points.
Where Kyrou likely ended up if you expand the list
This is just the top-20 wingers, and if you were to expand the list, Kyrou would have likely ended up in that 21st, 22nd, or 23rd spot. There is no doubt that he could have pushed Boldy out, but it was a toss-up between the two players.
In 2025-26, with an improved roster and a chance for him to have his second stint with Dylan Holloway and Pius Suter, or Brayden Schenn, the second line is going to be a force. Kyrou has a very good opportunity to make it on the top-20 wingers list next season, and could be the first Blues player to hit some hefty goal milestones like 50+ goals in a season since the last century.
