The St. Louis Blues are about to get a serious boost in firepower, as one of their leading scorers is back in the lineup. Jake Neighbours, who has been out for nearly a month of action, will be playing in the Thursday night tilt in Philadelphia.
He was activated from injured reserve before the announcement that he would be back in the lineup. Neighbours is projected to be back on the top line with Robert Thomas and Dylan Holloway, in hopes of a spark in offense.
Neighbours has only seen eight games of action this season, and scored six goals and added an assist for 7 points. The Blues are in desperate need of some scoring help, and they got back one of the best from this season.
In terms of the injury itself, he came back a lot sooner than predicted, which is a great thing. But, it will be interesting to see just how much he was able to heal in that time, and if he can be thrown back into first line minutes.
