Following in the National Football League's footsteps, the National Hockey League has now gotten very creative with its schedule reveals every year. Now that it is time to release the 2026-27 campaign, some were a little more creative than others.

For the St. Louis Blues, it was a simple approach. Brilliantly marketed as being nonchalant with the schedule drop, a two-column sheet of paper with some highlighter was all it took. Others around the league went for more of a graphic-design look, like the New York Rangers, or, as the Florida Panthers did, they shared each game individually on their X account.

One team was a clear-cut winner, however, as the Anaheim Ducks went above and beyond to make their schedule reveal a memorable one. Thankfully, with how much history there is between these two franchises, with recent trades, the Blues survived the plethora of disses thrown.

Blues missed a social media diss

This is so creatively done with the ever-growing trend of Pokémon, and it's lucrative and popular trading card game. Celebrities, sports athletes, and common folk all come together to obtain the best cards in those packs.

The Ducks went scorched-earth with their announcements of some key opponents, narrowly missing the Blues but attacking other Central Division foes. Like the Nashville Predators, who were labeled as "Rock Bottom", and one of the descriptions for the attacks was, "The attack sounds tougher than it is".

Ouch.

Over the past two seasons, the Blues and Ducks have done a number of deals together. Starting with the Cam Fowler trade in the 2024-25 season, and then again with Mason McTavish moving to St. Louis. These two teams face off against one another three times next season. Starting on November 17, and then again on January 14 and March 13 of next year.
