Full-Timers
Zack Bolduc is perhaps one of the most notable prospects in the 2024 – 25 season. “Boldy” playing 72 games, scoring 19 goals and 17 assists. In the 2023–2024 season, there were concerns about the consistency of Bolduc’s play. He put that narrative to rest fast. There’s no doubt in my mind that “Boldy” has earned the respect of the team and has secured a roster spot. Give Bolduc another 10 games, and the team has another 20-goal scorer while also playing a heavy, hard-hitting style.
Jimmy Snuggerud not only broke the roster last year but also made an impact, so much so that he played in all seven games of the playoffs. The winger ended the season with one goal and three assists. Snuggerud is a bit more challenging to predict because we’ve only seen seven NHL games. That said, his decision to stay in Minnesota and attempt to lead his team to a championship is proving to be a genius idea. Thus far, Jimmy Snuggerud looks to have the hockey sense of an “NHL’er” and for that reason, I expect to see him on the ice when the season begins.

On The Cusp
Dalibor Dvorsky played his first two NHL games with the team, in which he went pointless in both games. However, he would go on to play 61 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds, the Blues' AHL organization, and end the season with 21 goals and 24 assists. I don’t expect to see Dvorsky that much next year either. The Blues organization doesn’t want to put Dalibor Dvorsky in a situation where he is unable to develop his skills. Bringing him in to move him up and down the lineup and taking him in and out of the roster will only delay his growth.

Out of all prospects headed to the 2025 training camp, Aleksanteri Kaskimaki may have one of the best chances to make an NHL appearance. The 21-year-old Finnish prospect played 63 games with the Springfield Thunderbirds in the 2024 – 25 season, registering 11 goals, 23 assists, and 34 points.
This is what Blues GM Doug Armstrong had to say about the center in May of 2025:
"If he does what's expected of him, he could play his first NHL game next season. He could even go straight from training camp to the NHL team." Before this statement, Armstrong compared Kaskimaki’s hockey IQ to that of young Alex Steen.

See you soon
The 2023 #29 overall pick recently made the news. On June 23, 2024, Matthew DeFranks reported that the Swedish defenseman, Theo Lindstein, would be making the jump to North America for the fall of 2025. Lindstein has been playing in the Swedish league, where he recorded two goals and five points in 17 playoff games this season. For now, Theo’s future with the Blues looks promising.
Otto Stenberg is a creative stickhandler with a soft touch who is known for being reliable. He finished the 2024 – 25 AHL season with five goals and 12 assists. Like Lindstein, Stenberg is another player who needs continued development.
Honorable Mention
I’m not sure if Alexandrov falls under the category of “prospect,” but he’s a player I look forward to seeing next year. He played 2 seasons with the Blues, scoring a total of three goals and six assists. Injuries forced Nikita to miss the first part of the 2023 – 2024 season, but when he returned, he went on an absolute terror. Alexandrov averaged a point per game at one point in February 2025.
