The St. Louis Blues have seriously underwhelmed this season, and their future is hanging in the balance. This team has no end goal, and the path to get there is very rocky.

But, looking back on the past two months of hockey, there are some cases to be made for this team's most valuable player. Each of these candidates has helped contribute in their own way.

Here are the rankings for the Blues' top MVP candidates?

5. Jimmy Snuggerud

The Calder Trophy candidate is already locked up with Matthew Schaefer being an absolute powerhouse on Long Island, but the case to be made for Jimmy Snuggerud for that award can still be made. With his most recent injury devastating the Blues, his impact on this team has already been felt in that 4-1 loss to Anaheim. Snuggerud is quickly developing into a top-tier talent for this franchise.

4. Jordan Kyrou

Jordan Kyrou has gotten on his horse, slightly, with scoring goals. He usually sits atop the Blues roster in terms of scoring goals, and this season has been no different as he leads this squad with eight goals. At the end of the season, his number one expectation is for him to be the goal leader and have it be a significant number like 40+.

3. Justin Faulk

If it wasn't for the defenseman labeled underneath Justin Faulk, there is a case that Faulk has earned his stripes this season. Many thought this would be a down year for Faulk, but it has been quite the opposite. In a defensive unit that has been lackluster, he has shone brightly at times.

2. Philip Broberg

The best defenseman on this team is Philip Broberg. He might not be checking all of the boxes, particularly with goals and assists, but he is seemingly doing all of the other important things very well. The Blues have to pay this kid whatever he wants, because he will torch them wherever he goes next season.

1. Robert Thomas

The Blues 2025-26 MVP is, much like it has been for a couple of years now, Rober Thomas. There is no replacing him, and this team is so much better with him than without him. The Blues' offense is seriously hindering this team, and Thomas has been a part of that issue. But he has still done his part to try and put scoring chances together.
