It is coming down to the wire as the 2025-26 season is starting to reach its end. With 11 games to go, the St. Louis Blues have to win a good amount and get some help from the teams ahead of them losing, if they want to sneak into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs coming to town and their underwhelming season nearing its end as well, this is going to be a tight game. Here are three Blues that have to show up in order for any kind of success. The best part is, these three will be the future core of this franchise going forward.

Logan Mailloux

All eyes are on the steady revival of defenseman Logan Mailloux. After one of the worst opening sets of games in recent memory, this season has to be labeled a failure, given that 80% of it has been a disappointment. But this last 20% has spoken volumes about his willingness to improve, and it is important that we all learn a little patience when discussing a younger talent.

Dalibor Dvorsky

If Robert Thomas is unable to go again, which has not been confirmed as of writing this, it will be Dalibor Dvorsky stepping in once again. He was fantastic in the 2-1 overtime win against San Jose, and that is likely to continue alongside Dylan Holloway and Jimmy Snuggerud.

Jimmy Snuggerud

Everyone, watch out for a fantastic milestone to be reached in this game against the Maple Leafs. If Jimmy Snuggerud, who has 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 points, is able to gain two points on Saturday, he would be the first Blues rookie since Partik Berglund in 2008-09 to reach 40+ points in a season. This kid is red-hot right now, and with that, his confidence is growing to new heights.
