Now that the unofficial start to Summer has begun, it is time to get into some offseason content for the St. Louis Blues. We have discussed some pieces on the best goal-scorers in franchise history, as well as best performances from this season.

But let's take a look at some fun trivia questions from this past season. The answers here may come as a bit of a shock.

The Blues scored 2+ PPG on four occasions. How many of those games did they win?

The Blues held a power play percentage of 17.59%, which was the 26th-best in all of the NHL. They had 38 goals on 216 attempts. Of the 82-game gauntlet, they managed to score two or more goals with the man-advantage on four different occasions.

The question is, how many of those games did they win?

The answer is... One. The Blues defeated the Anaheim Ducks, 6-2, on April 3 and went 2/4 on the power play. They lost each of the other three games in which they had multiple goals with a man-up, making this a head-scratcher. Two or more goals in that kind of way do not guarantee a win, but it sure does make it a little easier.

How many games did the Blues register 40+ shots on goal?

The Blues registered 2075 shots on goal in 2025-26, which is the 29th-most in the NHL. That is an average of 25.3 shots per game. Not an ideal stat to have, considering the shakiness of the goaltending this season.

The question is, how many times were the Blues able to register more than 40 shots in a single game?

The answer is... None. That's right, the Blues were unable to hit that 40-shot mark, which they hit twice in the 2024-25 season.

Did the Blues put up 5+ goals in a game more than their opponents did in 2025-26?

This is a fun one. Were the Blues able to score more than five goals in a single game, or did their opponents score more than five goals on them?

The answer is... No. The Blues scored five goals or more on 12 occasions in 2025-26, and they let 20 opponents hit that magic mark of five against them. This is particularly interesting when you think about the seven shutouts that both Joel Hofer and Jordan Binnington mustered this season as a tandem.
