This is a Father's Day Weekend that Keith Tkachuk will never forget. The former NHLer, who has two sons that are top playmakers in today's game, got a lot of great news over the last two days.
First, his two sons, Matthew and Brady will be teaming up together in Florida as a part of a very good Panthers team. Now, they can both try and win a Stanley Cup together, just like they won a Gold Medal with Team USA at the 2026 Olympics.
Second, and not nearly as important as his status as a father getting to watch both of his boys play professional hockey together, was a phone call from the Hockey Hall of Fame. The former member of the St. Louis Blues will be enshrined in hockey history, forever.
Class of 2026
Tkachuk joins an incredible class of 2026, alongside Patrice Bergeron, Carey Price, Pekka Rinne, Cindy Curley and Brian Burke. What a list of names to be a part of.
There have been 26 members of the Hockey Hall of Fame connected to the Blues organization, and now with Tkachuk joining the illustrious hall, it is now 27 names. If only one day his two sons were to link up in the 'Lou, then there would be No. 28 and No. 29 right there.
Despite not winning a Stanley Cup, Tkachuk was a polarizing hockey player. Mixing grit and toughness with an incredible skill set of speed and creativity, he is one of the league's most recognizable names from a national level.
