It is finally here. Here is the official opening night roster for the St. Louis Blues as they host the Minnesota Wild on October 9.

Not too much of a surprise following the last round of cuts and waiver wire activity. This is a solid lineup, featuring a lot of the same core group from last season's playoff appearance.

The main new additions, Pius Suter, Nick Bjugstad, and Logan Mailloux, all made the opening night squad. Matthew Kessel is the only "prospect" to make it out of training camp, but he will be battling Mailloux for the third-line spot on the blueline and the seventh defenseman spot.

There is a very good chance that this group will not be featured for all 82 games this season. Dalibor Dvorsky, Hunter Skinner and Theo Lindstein are three players that should have a crack at the NHL roster as some point this season.

Let us also not forget the 2025 first-round selection, Justin Carbonneau, is also going to be featured toward the end of the year to see how his development has come along.
