The St. Louis Blues had some familiar faces on the ice at practice on Tuesday, including one key player that is desperately needed right now. Dylan Holloway has hopped back onto the ice, but it is still very early in the process.

Finally, some good news
The injuries have been a plague for this Blues team all season long. The list has been a revolving door, with one name coming off for another name going on. Robert Thomas has been on the injured list, Jordan Kyrou, Dylan Holloway, Nathan Walker, Alexey Toropchenko and the list goes on and on.
Holloway's return is a key one, as the Blues desperately need his speed and creative ability with the puck. Since his absence began December 15 with a right-ankle injury, it has been evident that he is an integral part of this team. Over time, a small bandaid has been applied to fix the wound.
Jonatan Berggren and Otto Stenberg have both seen a good bit of time since their waiver claim and call-up, respectively. Berggren jumped into the fray, filled Holloway's spot in the top six almost immediately. Then, Stenberg was called up and provided a much-needed boost in speed and creativity, coinciding with Holloway's impact.
But it has not been the same with out a finisher like Holloway.
What about Walker?
Walker is still on the mend, and it may almost be time for No. 26 to step back onto the ice for the Blue Note. Head coach Jim Montgomery spoke on his potential return, in a rivalry game that could end up in a bloodbath.
Jim Montgomery wouldn't commit to Nathan Walker returning tomorrow. "We put him in a spot where he would possibly be playing and we wanted to see how that develops until tomorrow." #stlblues

Walker has been out with an injury since December 1, and his timetable to return was eight weeks from then. That gives a return date of early February, but it might be as soon as Wednesday night. After the Brayden Schenn and Connor Bedard incident following the last game on December 12, there could be some retaliation from the Blackhawks to even the score.
Walker could be a valuable asset in the physicality and fisticuff department.
