After a long, long summer, it is finally time to watch some St. Louis Blues hockey. Even though it is preseason, you cannot ignore the fact that any kind of hockey right now is completetly welcomed with open arms.
In the first game of a six-game batch, the Blues are set to face off against Central Division rival, the Dallas Stars. The roster has been set for this one, but it has not become clear as to what the line combos will look like.
Justin Carbonneau highlights the group, as it will be his first game in an NHL facet, and first time representing his new team that drafted him in the first round of this year's draft. Dalibor Dvorsky, who is one of the hopefuls to make the roster out of training camp, is also going to be out there in the first preseason game.
Another name to watch here is going to be Otto Stenberg, who has a chance of making it onto this team as well as a dark-horse pick. He shined really brightly in the Prospect Showcase a week ago, and might have a great preseason showing this season.
For the first time since going out with injury and having to have surgery to get himself healthy enough for this season, Dylan Holloway headline the everyday NHLers, who are getting back into the swing of things.
Finally, the one player that has everyone buzzing in training camp, Logan Mailloux, will make his first impression with the Blue Note uniform on.
Puck drop is expected for 8 PM CT, and it will be availlable to watch for free on the Blues App.
