The 2024-25 NHL season is officially over with the Florida Panthers defeating the Edmonton Oilers once again in the Stanley Cup Final.
Now, the St. Louis Blues and the rest of the NHL can fully turn their attention to the offseason.
The start of the offseason is with the 2025 NHL Draft on Friday, June 27 and Saturday, June 28. However, the Blues don't have all of their picks this year after signing offer sheets with two players whom the Oilers could've used in the Stanley Cup Final against Florida.
In fact, the Blues currently own just three picks in the upcoming draft. They have a first-round pick, a fifth-round pick, and a sixth-round pick. It's certainly possible that the Blues could add a few picks by trading down or other assets, but for now, that is what they have.
Whoever St. Louis selects with its picks will get a chance to get on the ice for the first time as a member of the Blues at the 2025 Development Camp.
The Blues announced this week that Development Camp will be held from Monday, June 30 to Thursday, July 3.
There will be on-ice activities during all four days of camp, and all on-ice camp sessions are free and open to the public. These sessions will include an hour of skills and power skating work and end with a 15-minute 3-on-3 scrimmage.
The team also released a list of players expected to appear at Development Camp:
Forwards: Cole Davis (invite), Antoine Dorion, Adam Jecho, Ondrej Kos, Tomas Mrsic, Juraj Pekarcik, Jakub Stancl, Nikita Susuyev.
Defense: Marcus Broberg, Quinton Burns, Lukas Fischer, Adam Jiricek, Anthony Kehrer (invite), Arseniy Koromyslev, Theo Lindstein, Will McIsaac, Colin Ralph.
Goalie: Connor Androlewicz (invite), Owen Bartoszkiewicz (invite), Jacob Steinman (invite).
Blues Development Camp is a great chance to see some future NHLers up close and personal.
