The St. Louis Blues have a pretty impressive record book, and there are a number of surprising and not-so-surprising numbers on there. One of which might shock you, as this organization has been around for well over half a century.

That being said, it is not an indication of a bad record to have, but it is a surprising one.

No one has played over 1000 games with the Blues

In 58 seasons, and a total of 4,835 games played in the National Hockey League, no one wearing the Blue Note has played over 1,000 games with the franchise. That is an impeccable stat, considering the players that have seemingly played with this team for the lifetime of their NHL career.

Bernie Federko has the most games played with the Blues with 927. He nearly reached the mark, but did not get over that plateau. What is most impressive about his career is that even tho he did not suit up for 1,000+ games, he is the only member of the Blues' historic roster to have over 1,000 points, with a total of 1,073.

Is there anyone that is currently close or might get there one day?

Actively, there are a couple of players who could reach the milestone. Defenseman Colton Parayko might be a lock to get there, as he currently has 723 games played over 10 seasons. At 32 years old and still playing at an extremely high level, it is safe to argue that he will break through that milestone of 1,000+ games played.

Additionally, Brayden Schenn is second on the active list with 589 games played, followed by Robert Thomas with 466 games. Schenn might not make it there as he is entering the twilight of his career, but Thomas might have a chance at 26 years old and a long career ahead of him.

Two Blues youngsters that fans should want to play over 1,000 games for the franchise are Jimmy Snuggerud and Justin Carbonneau. Both of these players have a very high ceiling, with a chance to be amongst the franchise's greatest players.
