Eight days to go until the 2026 NHL Draft, and the St. Louis Blues have a whopping 12 selections to make--barring any trades in the coming days or on the draft floor itself. There has been mock draft after mock draft after mock draft as the day draws ever closer, but today brings a new wrinkle: Corey Pronman, of The Athletic, has mocked all 223 picks of the 2026 draft. That's quite the undertaking! Let's go over who he's predicted the Blues will take.

First up, with the 11th pick, is a name that frequently appears alongside the Blues: 6-foot-5 winger Ethan Belchetz. That's a good start! Next up, with the 15th-overall pick, Pronman gives the Blues Swedish center Alexander Command. That's pretty par for the course, with most mocks giving the Blues a center with one of their first two picks; usually, it's Oliver Suvanto, but Command and Tynan Lawrence have appeared from time to time as well.

Things get a little cloudy with pick 29, as The Athletic has a formatting issue at time of writing. Pronman gives the Blues one of the twins, Liam Ruck, but the description talks about the Calgary Flames taking Ruck; if we read pick 31--the Carolina Hurricanes' selection--Pronman talks about the Blues taking left winger Adam Novotny. Either player would be fine in that range, but Novotny--6-foot-1 and 205 pounds--could be quite a steal that late in the first round.

The Blues don't have a second-round pick, but do have three third rounders (73, 75, 76). With the first of those three, Pronman gives the Blues goaltender Martin Psohlavec; goalies are lottery tickets so adding one to the system makes sense. Next, the Blues get forward Ryan Roobroeck, who'd been in lottery conversations earlier this season--picking him up in the middle of the third round would be unbelievable. With their final third-round pick, the Blues get winger Filip Novak.

Pronman doubles down on goalies with the first of the Blues' two fourth-round picks, giving them Stepan Shurygin; with their second, the Blues take home defenseman Myles Brosnan. The Blues have two fifth-round picks as well, and Pronman gives them center Jan Brabenec and--would you believe it?--a third goaltender in Sebastian Charvat. Taking two goaltenders in a single draft is uncommon; taking three is borderline unheard of, though with so many picks (and the uncertainty with goalies), you may as well load up the pipeline.

Using their final two picks in the sixth and seventh rounds, Pronman mocks two defensemen to the Blues: Yaroslav Matyev and Ziggie Bratt, respectively. If anything, Ziggie Bratt could win the No. 1 name of the draft award.

The Blues could wind up with a massive infusion of talent on draft weekend, and this latest mock shows just how many players that really is. Doug Armstrong's going to have his work cut out for him in his final draft as general manager.
