The St. Louis Blues are starting to heat up as the weather outside is finally starting to dwindle. The illustrious three-game win streak always escapes this franchise, but with two straight wins against Boston and Detroit, it is now onto the New York Rangers.

This has been a fun week for news, as the 2026-27 season entered the Halloween phase, and the holiday season has officially begun. This is the second-best stretch of the year, aside from the playoff push at the beginning of March.

Let's go over some of the biggest news this week revolving the Blues and some NHL tidbits as well.

The Blues are hot

The Blues are hot. A two-game winning streak is the start of something magical for this team, as they have a very favorable schedule this week. There is a chance that they can gain some ground in the Central Division later this week in Nashville, and get some much-needed points as they visit the East Coast, with the Rangers and New Jersey Devils.

Hometown Remix jerseys announced

The Blues Hometown Remis jersey were announced, and here they are in all their glory.

Snuggerud for 50?

Jimmy "Himmy" Snuggerud is on pace for 48 goals this season. He is right on the doorstep of 50 goals, and with eight goals in eight separate games, he can certainly make it an interesting storyline at the end of this season. Can he become everything that fans wanted from Jordan Kyrou, and more?

Mailloux to Springfield

Logan Mailloux is on his way back to being in game shape, as he was sent to Springfield for a conditioning stint. That makes the right side of the defensive core a very logjam of talent, and either Justin Barron or Adam Jiricek could be the casualty. Another layer of reality here is that Tyler Tucker has just about become invisible, as his return timetable is still unknown.

McDavid makes history

When you beat Wayne Gretzky at something, it is a really impressive feat. Edmonton Oilers superstar center Connor McDavid became the fastest player to 30 assists in a season, doing it by game 15. He is on pace to cruise over the 200-point mark by the end of the 2026-27 season, and there are no signs of him slowing down yet after the first month of the season.
