It was a wild, wild night for the St. Louis Blues. They went down 3-1 at the end of the first period, rallied back to make it 4-4 at the end of the second before potting three more in the final frame to win the game.

What a performance from this team, as this is garbage-time with nothing to really play for. They closed the doors on the Enterprise Center with a masterful performance, and fans should be very happy with that.

Here are some takeaways from the night.

Snuggerud is him

It was a historic night for Jimmy Snuggerud as he scored his first career four-point night. With two goals and two assists, he was fantastic all the way through. Much like this season, he has been dependable and consistent, making him one of the best players on this team already.

The sky is the limit for this kid, and there is a good chance that this is just the start of a legendary career here in the 'Lou.

Can't really consider goaltending in that kind of game

The goaltending on both sides were spotty. Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington allowed five goals on 23 shots, and Pittsburgh split their goaltending between both Stuart Skinner and Artur Silvos, who both allowed six goals on 30 shots.

There was no rhtyhm or flow, just goals, goals, goals. Both teams were all gas and no brakes, and the goaltenders were left out to dry.

Thank you fans

It was the final game in front of the home fans for the Blues, and did they make it count. This season did not live up to the expectations that was built from the improbable playoff run last season, but it did have its moments. There is a lot for this team. and fanbase, to be proud of.

One more game to go, and then we can all put the 2025-26 Blues season, to rest.
