The NHL Draft, set to begin on June 28th in Las Vegas, is the big day for NHL prospects looking to fulfill their lifetime dream of playing in the most competitive hockey league in the world.

In the upcoming draft, the St. Louis Blues have the highly sought after No.16 pick in the first-round, as well as a total of eight additional picks in the later rounds.

St. Louis Blues Draft picks:

Round 1 - No. 16
Round 2 - No. 48, No. 56 (from TOR)
Round 3 - No. 81, No. 95 (from NYR)
Round 4 - No. 113
Round 5 - No. 145
Round 7 - No. 209, No. 211 (from NYI)

While fans arguably remain excited for the No. 16 pick, the Blues also hold two second—and third-round picks. Both rounds are perfect opportunities to find a quality player and, who knows, the next star in St. Louis.

To give the latter rounds proper context, Jordan Kyrou, Brandon Saad, and Justin Faulk were second-round picks. Pavel Buchnevich and Colton Parayko were third-round picks.

It is worth noting that Kyrou and Buchnevich were the top scorers in the 2023-24 season with the St. Louis Blues, with Kyrou ranking first and Buchnevich coming in second. Both Faulk and Parayko rank among the top three defensemen for the Blues.

This shows that the Blues, with four picks in the second and third rounds, are positioned to make a splash for the second year in a row, following their three first-round selections from 2023.

Who has the potential to become the next Jordan Kyrou or Pavel Buchnevich?

Stay tuned, Blues fans! The draft will bring some surprises and new players for you to support.

Make sure to mark your calendars for June 28th, as the NHL draft will be starting at 7:00 PM ET. It's an event you won't want to miss, so be sure to tune in!
